Restaurant Lev

Restaurant Lev is a gourmet restaurant in a thatched farmhouse from 1840 on Bøgetvej in Utterslev in north-west Lolland, opened by Norwegian master chef Thorbjørn Kristensen. Regarded as Denmark's first alcohol-free gourmet restaurant, it is rooted in a 'blue kitchen' with around 80% of ingredients sourced from the sea — garfish, mackerel, herring, shellfish and seaweed — supplemented by game. Guests sit at long communal tables in the old farm rooms. The remote rural setting with views across the Småland Sea is part of the concept. Alcohol-free wines from a specialist supplier are served with the food.
