Muuhhies is a self-service farm shop at Tulvej 5 in Bøgesø near Næstved, selling fresh milk straight from the farm's own Holstein cows along with a selection of local produce from nearby suppliers. The shop opened in June 2026 and is accessible every day from 08:00 to 20:00 — fully self-service, so you shop at your own pace.

The Sparresminde passage grave, between Damsholte and Neble on Møn, is undoubtedly among Denmark's top ten megalithic tombs. This magnificently well-preserved collective grave was built by the Funnel Beaker Culture during the farming Stone Age around 3,200 BC. The passage grave perfectly illustrates the architectural capabilities of early farming communities and the colossal investment of both time and labour that went into the construction of these graves.

Holtug Shelter is a free shelter site in the village of Holtug on Stevns. The shelter is situated by the village's communal green area, Grønningen, close to the village pond, and is an ideal spot for primitive outdoor accommodation in nature. The site caters particularly to cyclists and others passing through the area who wish to sleep outdoors.

The Fjord to Fjord Trail is a nature trail of around 28–30 km connecting Avnø Fjord and Præstø Fjord across Zealand's narrowest point. The route passes through open countryside with hedgerows, canals and minor roads, passing several villages and natural areas along the way. From Avnø, where you may be lucky enough to spot seals near the nature centre, the trail passes through the drained Køng-Sværdborg-Lundby Bog — thousands of years ago a large lake with Stone Age settlements — and continues past villages such as Sværdborg, Neble and Grumløse and through Faksinge Forest, before ending at Nysø Manor and Præstø Harbour. The route forms part of the longer Sjællandsleden trail and is also open to horse riders. Waymarking can be sparse in places, so it is recommended to bring a map or route app.

Liselund Ny Slot on Møn is a hotel and restaurant housed in the neoclassical manor built in 1887, set in woodland near Møns Klint. The kitchen works with local Møn produce and is well suited for brunch and lunch. See liselundnyslot.dk for current opening hours and reservations.

Festival at Højskolen Marielyst with concerts, talks, debates and lectures over two days — Denmark's only festival aimed at seniors. The school's park is transformed into a festival venue with events from morning to evening on several outdoor and indoor stages, and the festival attracts around 1,800 guests each year. Event: Seniorfestivalen Marielyst. Held annually in July over two days.
