Tystrup Sø — Frederikskilde Strand

By Tystrup Sø lies a developed bathing beach in one of the natural areas many consider among Zealand's most beautiful. The lake forms part of the protected Tystrup-Bavelse area, which was inaugurated in 1964 as Denmark's first nature park. The beach is around 150 metres long with fine sand on both the beach and lake bed, and the water depth increases gradually — well suited to families with children. Picnic tables and benches as well as grilling facilities are available on the adjoining grassy area. Wheelchair-accessible route from the car park at Kongskilde Naturcenter (Skælskørvej 34, 4180 Sorø).
