Svinø Strand
📍 Svinø Strand, 4750 Lundby

Svinø Strand is a natural sandy beach on the Svinø peninsula between Næstved and Vordingborg. The beach is surrounded by Dybsø Fjord to the north-east and Karrebæksminde Bay and Smålandsfarvandet to the west, facing the west coast of Vordingborg Municipality. With its shallow water the beach is particularly child-friendly and well suited to families. The area was originally called Svinø because it was once an actual island belonging to the Gavnø barony, but in the last century it became connected to the rest of Zealand by land.
