Fejøs Festival
Fejøs Festival describes itself as "perhaps the smallest festival with the greatest music" — and it is no empty claim. Every July, musicians of international soloist calibre gather on the small island of Fejø in the Smålandshav for a week of chamber music at the very highest level. Fejø Kammermusikforening has from the outset sought to bring classical music to new audiences and break away from the formal atmosphere of the concert hall. Musicians perform in changing ensembles at intimate venues around the island — from atmospheric church concerts to informal open-air arrangements.

Lolland Operafestival
Lolland Operafestival works to make opera accessible to everyone — whether a seasoned opera-goer or brand new to the genre. The festival grew from a single opera concert at Axeltorv in Nakskov in 2021 and has since expanded to a programme of six summer performances. Concerts are held in town squares, manor houses, and other special venues across Lolland, and many are free of charge. Performances are designed to be enjoyed without prior knowledge, with arias shortened from their original lengths. The festival received Lolland Municipality's Culture Prize in 2023.
