Kitesurfing ved Dybsø Fjord
📍 Ring Strand, 4736 Karrebæksminde
Dybsø Fjord between Næstved and Vordingborg is a shallow, protected fjord with an average depth of around one metre. The flat waters behind the islands of Dybsø and Enø offer good conditions for kitesurfing when the wind is favourable. One of the well-known spots is Ring Strand at the eastern end of the fjord area. The fjord is designated a Natura 2000 site and forms part of the Dybsø Fjord wildlife reserve, which is important for birdlife. Kitesurfing in the area has been the subject of debate out of consideration for the birds — visitors are encouraged to show consideration and stay informed about local rules.
