Kalvehave Strand

Kalvehave Beach lies right by Kalvehave Harbour with a beautiful view over Ulvsund towards Møn. The beach is around 400 metres long, surrounded by beautiful park areas and Viemose Forest, and has fine sand with scattered small stones. A bathing pier with steps eases access to the water, which gradually increases in depth making it child-friendly. There are good facilities with a large car park, tables, benches and public toilets. From Kalvehave Harbour there is a ferry connection to Møn, and the area also offers restaurants and an underwater nature trail suitable for beginner snorkellers.
