Jarsskov

Jarsskov is a peninsula extending into Dybsø Fjord, south of Vester Egesborg in South Zealand. The forest combines coastal meadows, reed beds and mixed woodland within the protected coastal landscape of the shallow fjord. Two bird-watching towers overlook the fjord and adjacent meadows — one on the eastern forest edge, one facing west. From the car park at the entrance, forest tracks lead on foot to the peninsula's southern tip and to the tower by the shore. The area is one of South Zealand's prime birdwatching sites.
