Gedesby Strand

Gedesby Beach is the southernmost beach on Falster's long eastern coastline, located near Gedser — Denmark's southernmost town. It is a good, child-friendly sandy beach with a flat shore, part of the approximately 20–25 km long equilibrium coast that is home to some of the country's best bathing beaches. Behind the beach lies the Falster Dyke, constructed in the 1870s following the devastating storm surge of 1872.
