Camp Adventure Klatrepark

📍 Skovtårnsvej 1, 4683 Rønnede, Danmark

Camp Adventure is a large nature attraction in the beech forest of Gisselfeld Kloster near Rønnede in South Zealand. The landmark is the Forest Tower — a 45-metre-high observation tower shaped like an hourglass, designed by EFFEKT Architects and opened in 2019. Inside the tower, an approximately 650-metre-long spiral ramp winds up to the top, offering 360-degree views over the South Zealand landscape; on clear days you can glimpse the Copenhagen skyline. The tower is considered the highest accessible point in Zealand and was nominated in 2022 for the EU's architecture prize, the Mies van der Rohe Award. A raised boardwalk through the forest leads to the tower. Camp Adventure also features a climbing park, marketed by the operator as Denmark's largest, with 12 courses and more than 150 obstacles at various difficulty levels for both children and adults. Street food stalls are available on site, and guests are welcome to bring their own food.
