Dybsø Fjord

Dybsø Fjord is a shallow inlet on the south-western Zealand double coastline, between Næstved and Vordingborg. The fjord covers around 17 square kilometres and has an average depth of barely one metre. To the west it is separated from Karrebæksminde Bay and the Småland Waters by the low barrier island of Dybsø and the southern tip of Enø, while the Svinø peninsula lies to the south. The fjord is considered one of Denmark's cleanest, and its low salinity and lush, sandy bottom make it a particularly rich natural area.
